“It’s never too late to have a happy childhood.” -- Cutter John (Bloom County)

This is where I am categorizing and archiving my family history.   This is where long dead relatives come back to life & are not forgotten! Some features of my website:

Mestephil’s Musings - My blog.  This is where I can comment on genealogical things on my mind that do not fit readily elsewhere.  This includes ancestor stories & background on the solving some of the puzzles I investigate.

Genealogy - Generated from Reunion genealogy software for the Macusing webcards.  This provides access to all individuals not living - all notes, photos and source citations that are linked to my Reunion database. To access the same database with images of all the sources & many more photographs, click here A username & password is required and has to be requested from me.

Letters - Scans & some transcriptions of letters by my ancestors.  There I am compiling two sorted archives:  one by the author and another when there is a chain of letters between two relatives.

Other Stuff - Ancestor dairies, albums, scrapbooks & whatever looks interesting.

Other Site Links - I also store my genealogy at Rootsweb & Geneanet with source citations.  See the links at the left.

I also have information at Footnote, WeRelate & Find a Grave. I participate in Facebook and Genealogy Wise as well.  All links provided on this page.

In the beginning of a change, the patriot is a scarce man, and brave, and hated and scorned.  When his cause succeeds, the timid join him, for then it costs nothing to be a patriot.
